(above) Daughter Kathy writes on June 17, 2006: We three children had our mother taken away from us at such a young age. My brother Marion, it was his 6th birthday. I was 3 years old, and our youngest brother, Larry, was only 18 months old. Also, it was our father and mother's wedding anniversary July 3, 1954 — NEWPORT NEWS, VIRGINIA.
Our Mother and Father had just bought a brand new home, had 3 small children. They sold apples off a pickup truck to make the down payment on the new home for us. Little did anyone know, Mama would be killed within six months after moving in our new home. Mama taught people how to drive for the Ford Company. Back then they had two steering wheels and two brakes. My youngest daughter, Vanessa, looks just like Mama, writes Kathy. (below)
