Kesha writes that her Dad was on his way home the evening of May 16, 2009.
A trooper responding to the fatal crash on state Highway 182 at U.S. 167 within St. Landry Parish at around 5 p.m. Saturday evening, May 16. Twenty-three-year-old Blake Reine was operating a 1990 Chevrolet truck north on state Highway 182, while fleeing from the Opelousas Police Department, for a hit and run crash, which he had just been involved. Reine failed to stop for the traffic light, entered the intersection against a red traffic signal, and struck 48-year-old Lee Campbell of Ville Platte, Louisiana.
