One does wonders when those "in charge" of California's outdated and dangerous pursuit practices will use better judgment and step out to change the culture of police vehicular pursuits.

Police need better judgment

The current policy of "pursuit of fleeing vehicle" by the police and authorities needs to be changed.

With updated aids, computers, radios, tire strips, the "fleeing vehicle" certainly isn't going to get away. The crashes and deaths are the end result. I do not fault the police, but certainly, it is time for those "in charge" to use better judgment in making decisions.
